Zen Do Kai The Best of Everything in Progression

Just giving a heads up to anyone interested in the KAWERA tournement being held in Hastings in association with MAUA (martial arts unified association). The tournement is on the 3rd and 4th july 2010, the saturday is for kata, weapon kata, swords (noodles), self defense techs, team kata and non contact karate, sunday is full contact karate.
This is a good opportunity for anyone interested in competition karate, and is similar to the tournement held at feilding. KAWERA martial arts academy is run by the Akurangi whanau, who have a team of qualified refs/judges and run professional "non political" tournemants, so if your that way inclined come and compete with some of NZ's best karate clubs, "this will be big".
I also realise the dates of the tournement and Richard Nortons seminar clash but its a win win situation for NZ Zen Do Kai clubs, so get out of your dojo's and try something different, tell your "peps" and support the movers.
